Hemet Softball had a tough game Friday, as they played the first-place team, San Jacinto High School. The Bulldogs lost, twelve to two.For the teams that we should win, and the teams that we should beat, they do really well._x000D_ The close games, like Puma and San Jacinto, the teams that we have to win, they're tough.Senior Selena Silva hit a home run for the Bulldogs in the fourth inning, but said she was disappointed that her team lost. We're like, so pumped up for this game._x000D_

We just had a few errors, but I mean, we're just gonna come back out and play our next game really hard. Overall, the Bulldogs have had a rocky season this year. Coach Jeff Galloway said the team works hard, but has a lot to learn as a young team._x000D_ We've got a lot of players that return, but a lot of players that are new on the field. So it's hard for them to get focused and keep going. I mean, they're working hard every day._x000D_

We're trying to improve every day, every game. We try to work on something, and at times we accomplish that goal, and other times we don't. The team hopes to keep improving this year, and is optimistic that they will finish out the remainder of the season on a better note._x000D_ It's on and off, so it's like it's kind of hard, but we'll get through it.
